If you are on a family holiday and you want to give your kids some wonderful memories that will stay with them for life, then a Bubble Makers dive can be a great way to do that.
The participants need to be at least 8 years old and from that age we can take them down to a shallow water scuba dive of just a few meters to explore and get a few breaths under the water. If your kids are over 10 years old and they enjoy this experience they can continue with the Jr. Open water dive course, which allows them to dive to a depth of 12meters. However, for children, we always recommend the bubble makers course first as an experience for the youngsters so that they can get a feel of scuba diving before committing to a full Open water dive course.
If you feel nervous about sending your kids out for diving please do not worry our experience instructors will look after the budding scuba divers with the outmost care and you can also join them if you wish. Again we always keep our philosophy of ‘Small is Beautiful’ so the group sizes is a maximum of 2-4 students. This allows our instructors to have their full focus on all the Jr. students and make sure that they will be comfortable and enjoying their time with the fishes. The day starts with some gentle theory followed by a shallow water dive in one of the lovely bays around the island. The Jr. divers will see fish and coral from this shallow water dive and photography and video can be arranged to record the moment if you wish.
As mentioned above, if the kids enjoy the day and are at least 10 years old they can continue with the scuba adventures and complete the Jr. Open Water Course by making 4 more dives over the next two days.
If you want your children to experience something special, enroll them in on our Bubble Maker course. Kids normally take to the water better than adults and they will enjoy playing with scuba to a depth of only 2 meters. Children as young as 8 can be introduced to beautiful underwater world ,for sure they will have a great story to tell their friends when they get back to school. The course starts at 9.30am. and is for only half a day.
