Opened in December 2010, and although we are a long way from completing the resort it is a wonderful and peaceful place to stay. Sattva Gardens is for those who like to be away from the main drag, if you are looking for a unique vacation then Sattva Gardens maybe just what you are looking for.

Surrounded by nature our resort will be like no other on koh Tao. The idea is to build a resort for those who love nature. We have spent many years of planning to ensure that as little impact has been made, to allow the beauty of nature to take your breath away. The resort is located in the crystal clear water of Aow Leuk where you can find a fantastic coral reef right on your door step. The rooms are a 5 minute walk along a nature trail from our own private beach.Views are amazing and every bungalow will have the space and privacy to enjoy the natural surroundings.

Sattva is the ancient sansascrit word meaning Perfect Harmony, we hope you will find just that, or at least be heading in the right direction, after spending some time with us here. Just relaxing in your hammock, reading your favorite book from an amazing view point, try snorkeling amongst the best corals on Koh Tao, Practicing Yoga overlooking the blue south china sea, or assist on one of our Marine Conservation Courses . All these activities are there for you to enjoy experience and grow, just like our garden.

Prices for the Sattva Gardens are as follows:

Seaview Hut (fan) 1200 Baht per night

Seaview Suite (fan/ hot water) 1800 Baht per night

Seaview Suite (AC/hot water) 2500 Baht per night.

Of course being in a seculded area such as Sattva Gardens will not be for everybody, so we have a selection of alternative resorts which you can stay at.If you are on a budget trip and would just like a roof over your head, these budget resorts may be a good option. All these resorts are located in Chalok Baan Kao Bay and and are all a 2 minute walk away from the dive school. The chalok area has a good selection of restuarants and bars to choose from, although it is not as busy as the main beach (sairee).

Prices for all these rooms are 400 baht per night.

RASTA HOME

Right next to the dive school, the Rasta Home offers budget accommodation and also a great Bar.The owners are Thai Rasta's who are well known for their hospitality .

BIG FISH

Also found in chalok baan kao, Big Fish have clean comfortable rooms at very reasonable prices. Located 2 minutes from the dive shop. The resort has a lovely beach garden looking over the bay.

KOH TOA TROPICANA

Situated on the Chalok Ban Kao bay and right next to the dive school and close to all amenities. We recommend this resort to our divers due to the friendliness of the staff.
