AYP (The Advance Yoga Practices) system of Yoga

The AYP (advanced yoga practices) system of yoga offers an open and integrated system of yoga .Practices taught in both the daily classes and workshops include deep meditation using an efficient universal mantra, advanced spinal breathing pranayama methods, asana (yoga postures) and an integration of other hatha, kundalini and tantra techniques, all for steadily cultivating inner peace and enlightenment through daily practice.

The techniques act directly through heart, mind, body, breath and sexuality, and each practitioner encouraged to go at their own speed in taking on new practices. Much attention is devoted in the classes to developing skills in "self-pacing," with the aim of assisting every practitioner to become self-sufficient in yoga.

The AYP system of practice started out in 2003 as an experiment to see how much yogic knowledge could be conveyed through the internet and other forms of writings. The author, Yogani, is an American spiritual scientist with many years’ experience in blending powerful yoga methods with the modern lifestyle. He has crossed the lines between many traditions, developing an effective integration of methods. It is a flexible, scientific approach rather than a rigid, arbitrary one. The focus of AYP is on revealing practices that work, not on promoting a sectarian view.

The ‘advanced’ in AYP does not indicate a level of difficultly but rather a quick, safe and efficient way to make real transformation in your life. All are invited to join in, regardless of background or level of skill in yoga. Access to the AYP online lessons and support forums is free. (link)

You can be a beginner, intermediate or advanced yoga practitioner, AYP will help you to develop your yoga practice, try one of our daily classes or a longer 8 day workshop during your stay on the island, as direct experience is the only true measure for each individual to examine the effects of these practices.
