Becoming a Divemaster
The course includes a minimum of 60 dives, which you can spread out over the course of a few months. Think about it. Diving every day on a tropical island!!! It is guaranteed to be a part of your life you will never forget. When you finish the course you will have an opportunity to work in the diving industry as a qualified Dive Master. Maybe you start something that will change your life forever.
We recommend a minimum of 6-8 weeks with the 1 week conservation course and 10-12 weeks with the 1 month conservation course to complete this course although less time is needed if you have a lot of diving experience.
To start your DMT you need a minimum of 40 logged dives, be certified as a Rescue Diver or equivalent with current 1st Aid. You are welcome to do any additional fun dives/dive courses with us before starting your DMT.
During this time you will learn how to:

Supervise general diving activities for certified divers and eventually leading certified divers on fun dives.

Assist different instructors with student divers in training, repeating the Open Water, Advance Adventurer and Rescue Diver courses this time as an assistant.

Improve your skills and test your limits in the water. You will be required to perform a variety of swim tests to check your endurance and physical fitness. You will also learn how to demonstrate dive skills at an instructor level, which will also prepare you to move up to the next level in the dive profession system, which is Diving Instructor.
As marine conservation is a priority at our dive school we offer free marine conservation course, New Heaven Reef Conservation Program and Conservation Diver, as part of the program for Divemaster Training (DMT).
During your training with NHRCP you will help our team with marine research, coral reef conservation as well as attend lectures about the marine ecology, NHRCP course schedule
