New Heaven is family owned dive school and yoga center, established on Koh Tao in the gulf of Thailand in 1995. We are one of the first dive schools on the island, but remain one of smallest, specializing in relaxed diving with small groups. We offer all PADI and SSI courses from beginner to professional levels, and with no more than 4 people per group, our professional staff is able to provide a unique and personalized diving experience. We are dedicated to upholding responsible eco-tourism with marine conservation, safety, and quality being our main priorities. Through our coral reef conservation projects and reef check courses, we strive to promote sustainable business practices that will preserve this tropical island paradise so that it may be enjoyed for generations to come.

Diving is a tool that allows you to increase your potential and experience the abundant and diverse life under the sea. Many dive schools promote only certifying divers without concentrating on the reasons why people begin diving in the first place. The reason why so many people first starting coming to Koh Tao was the amazing coral reefs surrounding the island, but lately many come only to learn diving skills with large schools and big groups without even seeing our best reefs. Our philosophy has always been to avoid the crowds and provide people with a unique experience where they not only learn to dive, but gain awareness, knowledge and an appreciation for marine life.

You will see that we have a different approach than most of the other dive schools when you come to our place. Whether you are a beginner or a qualified diver, from the moment you walk though our doors you will feel nature surrounding you. Our shop is made from natural materials a stark contrast to the average dive school on koh tao. Located in the more tranquil part of the island, Chalok Ban Kao offers a variety of accommodation, eateries and nightlife. Our shop is found right in the middle of Chalok, the only place where you can still see the sea,opposite the delicious KOPPEE Bakery and Internet café.

You can spend hours passing the time away in our idyllic tropical garden overlooking a perfectly formed blue crescent bay. All classes are held outside, where you will receive personal tuition from friendly instructors. If scuba is not for you join us for a snorkeling trip or try the yoga class held every night at the dive shop at 5.30.
