If you’re not totally sure about scuba, this one day introduction course will help you discover how it feels to breathe under the water. You will be amazed as you see the wonderful coral reef and all its fishes, just like the discovery channel, only better.
You have a chance for a lie in and some breakfast as we meet up at 9.30am. One of our instructors will take you through all the basic information you need before you make your dives. This course is nice and relaxed, some people will be nervous about diving for the first time, our professional instructors take you though the steps nice and slowly.
The boat leaves around 10 am. for a scenic shallow water bay, the journey to the dive sites is not long, during this time you will set up your dive gear with your instructor. When the boat stops you will be shown the all the skills one more time before entering the water.
You will be starting where the conditions are calm, in water just waist high. Remember, the group sizes are small so you will have plenty of time to ask questions or improve your new skills. After everyone has got to grips with the basics you will be lead one your first open water dive.

Why not spend two wonderful days learning to dive in the blue seas around koh Tao. The PADI or SSI Scuba Diver programs are great courses for those interested in receiving the basic certification for diving. With these certifications you can dive under the direct supervision of a professional Divemaster or Instructor, to a maximum depth of 12 meters, on your next dive trip. The course lasts for two days and you must be at least 10 years old and be able to swim.
The class starts each day at 9.30 am, over the two days you’ll learn to master the essential skills required by all divers under the guidance of your course instructor. You will have the chance to see some amazing corals and fish and of course to fly though the water.
You earn this rating by completing two shallow water training dives, two open water dives (depths of 5-12meters) and knowledge development sessions. You have the option also of upgrading to Open Water Diver within 12 months by simply completing the remaining sections with a PADI instructor. We will provide you with all the equipment you will need for the duration of the course, including course materials, boats trips and snacks between dives.

Designed for the beginner, this course will introduce you to the wonders of the aquatic realm. Most people start with this course which will teach you the basics of scuba diving over 3 days. You must be at least 10 years old and be able to swim all scuba dive courses are fun, educational and enjoyable.
The Open Water course is divided into modules. It consists of five academic sessions, two shallow water sessions, and then four open water dives in the ocean. During the academic sessions you will learn basic dive theory and safety together with your instructor and through independent self study.
The confined sessions teach all the skills you will need for diving in deeper water. You learn first in shallow areas to build up your confidence and knowledge then move into deeper water to practice the skills again.
Our experienced instructors will know when you’re ready to take your open water dives, which will allow you to experience Koh Tao’s most fantastic dive sites from shallow water reefs to underwater pinnacles. You will see many new creatures of every description, this course really is an eye opener to the variety of life we have on the coral reef.
Once you complete the final theory session you will be issued your license which enables you to dive to a depth of 18 meters with a buddy who is also a certified diver, at all diving destinations in the world!
We adapt the pace of the class to meet individual needs, sometimes people need more time to get comfortable, in that case your course might be 1 day longer with more shallow practice before you move into deeper water. We have the time if you need it, we are not in a rush to get you though the course, but rather try to be flexible with the course to suit your needs.

To take this course you must have already completed the open water course. The Advance courses give certified divers an opportunity to explore the different areas of diving. You will be learning advance diving techniques which will not only increase your confidence but also improve you new found diving skills.
To be certified as an advanced diver, you must complete two core dives; Deep dive, and Navigation dive and 3 more dives of your choice. Your Instructor will offer you details on the different dives available that you could choose for your Advanced Course in addition to the 2 core dives.
Once we have chosen your 3 other dive options then we'll start talking about each area individually & in depth so you get a good understanding of what you are about to do. After covering the material with your instructor, you are ready for the fun part of this course - the diving. The course is run in a relaxed manner with the Instructor who offers help, encouragement and expert advice to guide you through the various tasks that will develop a greater awareness and knowledge of diving and the marine environment.
The course is conducted in 2 or 3 days usually with two dives per day with an option of taking your last dive on the second or third day. Remember we have the time for you, all of our courses are conducted with the intention to provide the best diving experience possible for you.

To do this course you must already be an advanced diver or have an equivalent level of certification. Rescue diver is the preliminary step to becoming a professional diver, by this stage you should already feel completely comfortable with your own abilities underwater, as you need to start learning about taking care of others. Both the PADI and SSI rescue diver courses requires that the student has medical training. If you have medical training already it needs to be valid within the last 2 years & you need to bring proof of your certification with you. Otherwise we can offer you the Emergency First Response Course.
Emergency First Response
This short half day course can be taken by divers and non- divers. The information you learn is extremely useful, the kind of knowledge that everyone should have, if you find yourself in a situation where someone needs your help. You will learn about handling emergency situation involving many different scenarios including; unconscious patient, bleeding, shock, strains and fractures to name a few. You will be using some of the skills you learn on the rescue course however there is no need to be a diver to complete this course.

The rescue course is 3 days. You will take part in many different exercises involving stress and rescue situations. Both on the land and in the sea you instructors will show and teach you strong techniques that will improve your awareness in accident management and diving emergencies to make you a more competent and useful diving partner. The theory exercises end with a multiple choice exam which you can go through with your instructors. In water practices finish with you rescuing an unconscious victim from the depths, bring the victim back on the boat, arranging a mock evacuation and providing necessary medical care to the victim. While this is all serious stuff, the course is so much fun; your instructors will take you though the correct procedures to handle these situations in a calm and comfortable manner. You will also be looking at the equipment in more detail to be able to know how to respond in case of a problem as well as learning how to conduct underwater and surface search patterns in the case of a missing diver. This is a more challenging course than the previous two however for sure you will become a much more competent diver once you have completed this program. You may well have fallen in love with diving once you have come this far, so dive master training looks good for you.

We highly recommend this course for those of you who have the time. The course includes a minimum of 60 dives which you can spread out over the course of a few months. Think of it ….. Diving every day on a tropical island!!!! It is guaranteed to be a part of your life you will never forget. When you finish the course you will have an opportunity to work in the diving industry as a qualified Dive Master. Maybe you start something that will change your life forever. We recommend a minimum of 6 weeks to complete this course although less time is needed if you have a lot of diving experience. During this time you will learn how to be supervising general diving activities for certified divers eventually leading certified divers on fun dives. As well as this you will assist different instructors with student divers in training. The third component of this course is to improve your skills and test your limits in the water. You will be required to perform a variety of swim tests to check your endurance and physical fitness. You will also learn how to demonstrate dive skills at an instructor level, which will also prepare you to move up to the next level in the dive profession, instructor.
You will follow the staff here with their work and become part of the team. The course is divided into both practical and theoretical knowledge, there are eight exams to get through which you will complete along with your instructor. The exams cover topics such as diving physiology, decompression theory, and dive equipment as well as other topics of interest. The course is run as an internship and you will need to come to the dive school every day and help with other activities such as taking care of the equipment and looking after the divers once they arrive in the shop etc. Of course this also means you can join yoga class at 5.30 sunset on the veranda overlooking the bay.
Divemaster training is a great experience and time we can share together, learning and enjoying the simple things in life. You need to have completed the other courses to advance to this level and once you become a Dive Master the whole world really is your oyster.
